Cat Forest Heavyweight Fleece Hoodie

The sleeve is what makes it a designed garment.

A hoodie with one print on the chest is a blank someone put a picture on.

This one is drawn for three places at once — front, back and down the

arm — so it holds together from whichever side you happen to see it.

The design

Matcha-green trees at staggered depth with cats curled asleep at their

roots, sized small on the front and given room to be a scene on the back.

The sleeve is a seigaiha wave, repeating the whole way down: texture, not

another illustration. Two drawings competing on one body is noise. A

drawing and a texture is a composition.

The fit

Oversized and genuinely heavy — 10.3 oz fleece, roughly half again the

weight of a standard hoodie, with a slight stretch so the thickness

doesn't read as stiff. Drop shoulders, loose through the body. Built for

the cold months rather than for layering in spring.
