These Terms of Service govern your use of the Nekomori website and any purchase you make from us. By visiting the site, creating an account, submitting content or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Store and service

Nekomori operates this online store. Shopify provides the commerce platform that supports the storefront and checkout. References to “we,” “us” and “our” mean Nekomori; “you” means a visitor, customer or person submitting content through the site.

2. Eligibility and account information

You must have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate contact, billing and shipping information. If you create an account, you are responsible for protecting its credentials and for activity under that account. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Products and product information

We work to describe products, variants, fabrics, measurements and print placements accurately. Screen settings, lighting and fabric-lot variation can affect how colors and details appear. Every product gallery image is labelled as artwork, a print-partner mockup or a photograph of a printed sample; where no sample has been photographed yet, the product page says so. The variant selected at checkout defines what is being offered for purchase.

Product availability, pricing and specifications can change without notice. You are responsible for checking the size chart and care instructions before purchase and use.

4. Orders and acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated order confirmation acknowledges receipt but does not guarantee acceptance. We may refuse, limit or cancel an order for reasons including unavailable stock, an obvious pricing or description error, suspected fraud, payment failure or an address we cannot serve. If we cancel an order after payment has been captured, we will refund the canceled amount to the original payment method.

5. Prices, payment and taxes

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless the site states otherwise. Applicable shipping charges and sales tax are displayed at checkout before you complete your order. You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the payment method you submit for the order total. Promotions, discount codes and limited-time offers may have additional conditions and cannot be combined unless expressly stated.

6. Shipping

Our Shipping Policy is incorporated into these Terms. It explains where we ship, current shipping charges, processing and delivery estimates, tracking and how to report delayed, missing, damaged or incorrect deliveries. Delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees.

7. Returns and refunds

Our Returns & Refunds Policy is incorporated into these Terms. It describes the return window, eligibility, made-to-order exceptions, damaged-item claims, return shipping and refund timing.

8. Safe and appropriate product use

A direct-to-garment print is ink cured into the fibres, and it lasts longest washed cold and inside out, dried low or hung, and kept away from bleach, fabric softener and a hot iron on the print itself. Follow the care label on the garment where it differs. A print that cracks or lifts within the first few washes is a fault rather than wear, and we will replace it.

9. Reviews and other content you submit

You retain ownership of reviews, photographs and other content you submit. You grant Nekomori a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, adapt, publish and display that content in connection with the store, our products and our marketing. You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit it and that it is honest, lawful and does not violate another person’s privacy or intellectual property rights.

We may moderate or remove content that is unlawful, abusive, irrelevant, deceptive, promotional spam or otherwise inappropriate, but we are not obligated to publish every submission.

10. Acceptable use

You may not use the site to break the law, infringe another person’s rights, submit false or malicious material, introduce malware, probe or bypass security, interfere with the site or checkout, impersonate another person, scrape the site in a way that burdens our systems, or use site content to mislead customers. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect customers, the store or our service providers.

11. Intellectual property

The Nekomori name, branding, site design, original illustrations, copy and other store content are owned by or licensed to Nekomori and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the site for personal shopping purposes, but may not reproduce, distribute, sell or commercially exploit our content without written permission. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.

12. Third-party services and links

The store may rely on or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment providers, carriers, review tools and social platforms. Their services may be governed by separate terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services that we do not control.

13. Disclaimers

We provide the site and its content on an “as available” basis. We do not promise that the site will always be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties that are not expressly stated, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nekomori will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or business opportunities arising from the site, a product or these Terms. Our aggregate liability for a claim related to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for the order giving rise to that claim. These limits do not apply where applicable law prohibits them.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the consumer protection laws of your residence require a different result.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the store, our services or applicable law. The updated version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Changes apply prospectively when posted unless a later date is stated.

17. General terms

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the policies linked above, constitute the agreement between you and Nekomori concerning the store and replace prior discussions about the same subject.
