Equipotential Cat Face Oversized Hoodie

Two charges, one cat.

Put two equal charges side by side and draw every line where the field is the same strength. Close in, the lines ring each charge separately; far out, they merge into one smooth oval; exactly between, they cross in a figure-eight. Those two charges became the eyes. The figure-eight became the bridge of the nose. The field lines that stream away from them became whiskers.

The design

Rust rings around each eye, a single cream lemniscate between them, and sage and forest-green ovals widening out to the edge of the face, across the back. Above it the Nekomori wordmark and Field Equations / No.05 Equipotential; below, 猫森 and the equation itself: |z − a|·|z + a| = c. A small version of the drawing sits on the left chest.

The fit

Oversized, with a dropped shoulder and a roomy body. Take your usual size for the intended slouch, or size down for a closer fit. Heavy fleece, soft on the inside.

• Pattern: Cat face built from Cassini-oval equipotential lines, with field-line whiskers, printed large on the back; small matching print on the left chest.
