Territory Voronoi Cat Boxy Hoodie

Every cell belongs to the point nearest it.

Scatter points across a sitting cat and let each one claim the ground closer to it than to any other point. The borders draw themselves: a Voronoi diagram, the same rule a neighbourhood of cats uses to split a street into territories. The cells crowd in small around the face, where there is the most to defend, and open out across the back and tail.

The design

Printed across the back in cream, forest-green, sage and rust ink: the cat is outlined in cream, filled with green and sage cells with a seed dot in each, and given rust cells for the eyes and nose. Above it the Nekomori wordmark and Field Equations / No.06 Territory; below, 猫森 and the equation itself: V_k = { x : |x − p_k| ≤ |x − p_j| for every j }. A small version of the drawing sits on the left chest.

The fit

Oversized and boxy, with a dropped shoulder and a cropped-wide body. Take your usual size for the intended shape, or size down for a closer fit. Heavy and structured, soft on the inside.
